For over a decade, The Brand Guild has played a key role in shaping The Yards’ brand identity with unique, timely, and pressworthy events. Our expertise in event strategy, creative environment design, and retailer partnerships has driven impactful placemaking initiatives, strengthening The Yards' presence as a cultural and lifestyle hub.

Beginning with groundbreaking events that focused on placemaking before there was a sense of place, The Brand Guild has conceptualized and executed large-scale signature events and focused programming to position The Yards as DC’s premier neighborhood to live, work, and play. Our team manages 20+ large-scale events and 10+ placemaking initiatives each year such as the millennial-focused Ice Yards, family-focused Noon Yards Eve, as well as tenant-focused events such as the award-winning Girl Scout Cookie Jamboree cocktail event, which drove traffic to their restaurants throughout the neighborhood.

Our work has helped to double foot traffic, made The Yards events must-attend celebrations for the community, all while securing extensive media coverage that has solidified The Yards' reputation as a vibrant and dynamic community.
