To celebrate the first anniversary of Amazon HQ2 and reinforce its commitment to the local community, Amazon partnered with The Brand Guild to strategize, plan, and execute Amazon Community Day—a dynamic, family-friendly event designed to connect with neighbors in a meaningful way. The event transformed neighboring Met Park into a lively community hub, featuring local vendors, interactive activities, and immersive brand experiences that highlighted Amazon’s role as a community partner rather than just a corporate presence.

From a community library book giveaway nodding to Amazon’s origins as a bookseller to the Taste of Met Park map, which drove traffic to local retailers, every activation was designed to be both impactful and authentic. Our efforts secured 23 media placements, including three broadcast segments, generating over 101 million media impressions. Attendance doubled from 2023 to 2024, firmly establishing Amazon Community Day as a signature neighborhood tradition and showcasing our expertise in large-scale event execution and strategic brand storytelling.
