Special Assistant to Co-CEO (WDC)

The Brand Guild’s Co-Founder and Co-CEO is seeking a Special Assistant to work in our Washington, DC Office. The ideal candidate must be an incredibly resourceful self-starter who is energetic, confident and able to thrive in an intense, fast-paced environment. He/she must be willing and able to manage a wide variety of responsibilities, always with the end goal and solutions to get there in mind. This position requires strong people skills, superb independent judgment and a commitment to discretion and confidentiality.

job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted right hand to the Co-CEO
  • Proactively manage Co-CEO’s To Do lists to ensure punctuality and timely completion of priorities, providing support as needed
  • Learn, anticipate and manage Co-CEO’s priorities and goals each day and for the long term
  • Schedule internal and external meetings and manage calendars and time
  • Assist with the management and upkeep of internal databases
  • Arrange and coordinate travel schedule and itineraries
  • Accompany the Co-CEO to meetings, as needed, and assist by tracking commitments and follow-up tasks
  • Assist with management of incoming correspondence
  • Schedule personal appointments and needs

​Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Special Assistant or Chief of Staff
  • Proficient in Google Drive, Google Calendar, MS Office, Slack and Dropbox
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Methodical and strategic thinker that exhibits creativity and resourcefulness
  • Strong time management and project management skills including the ability to initiate and follow through on a high volume of projects, monitor status, maintain tracking spreadsheets and deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to change gears quickly – a true multi-tasker
  • A polished, positive, can-do attitude with the belief that no job is too big and no job is too small
  • A reliable team player that works effectively with all levels of staff and external parties with grace and acumen
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule and provide support and assistance to the Co-CEO outside normal business hours, if and when requested
  • Willingness to travel, if needed
